Free Bible Study Software, Full Stop
Vellum is free the way public-domain software should be: no trial period, no "premium" tier, no ads, no account to create. Every translation, commentary, dictionary, and tool described below is included the moment you install it.
Version 1.14.0 · Portable or installer · ~275 MB · Free forever
What "free" actually means here
A lot of software calls itself free and then asks for a subscription to unlock commentaries, or shows ads between chapters, or needs an account and an internet connection just to open. Vellum does none of that, because everything in it is built from public-domain and openly-licensed texts, so there's no licensing fee to recoup and nothing to charge for.
